Role Overview
The Warehouse Associate will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the smooth functioning of the facility and timely support. This position requires a combination of organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.
Status: Full-Time, Non-exempt
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of a warehouse, including the organization of the warehouse space.
- Responsible for shipping & receiving, part reconciliation, and inventory reports.
- Preparing orders for shipment, including palletizing and dock delivery, and recording arrival and departure times for shipments.
- Inspecting all stock for damage and keeping records of damages.
- Operating stock management tools, specifically a forklift
- Conduct monthly inventory and maintain appropriate records.
- Manage returns for defective equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- One year of customer service experience or equivalent, preferred
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Forklift experience and certification are preferred
Work Requirements
- Onsite position
- Work hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 – 3:30 pm
- Ability to lift weights up to 80 pounds.
